Vancouver's trap and bass scene has been on the rise with several experimental producers consistently hitting the decks at local nights such as Celebrities and MIA Nightclub. With the amount of talent the city has to offer, the power duo known as WE ARE FURY began to make a name for themselves by enticing their listeners with melodic melodies and their signature trap sound. With pure creativity instilled in their production style, the duo are hungry to bring back their old school sound with their collaboration of "Mortal" with Vancouver based producer NXSTY and Quebec rapper Wasiu.

Portraying a balance between boundary-pushing sound design and melodic lyricism, the track opens up with slow tempo instrumentals and jump right into Wasiu's lyrics to remind their listeners that we are all mortal. With his crisp voice flowing perfectly in alignment with the mellow beat, sudden slices of synth and bass take over the single to satisfy the trap enthusiasts needing a little filth in their life. With an impressive collaboration from these Canadian artists, WE ARE FURY state "we heard of this 18 year old from Vancouver who was making crazy music a year ago and we decided to reach out and see if we could make something. NXSTY has a very distinct sound and we think he is next up from all the bass artists in Vancouver. He is an absolute beast in the studio and working on Mortal together was refreshing as well as super fun. Funny enough we linked with Wasiu on YouTube comments and he sent us back the verses shortly after. It was game over after that." We'll be on the lookout for more releases to change up the trap game once again.
