Ois4 OMARI pays respect to his "Kinfolk"

Budding rapper Ois4 OMARI reflects on a myriad of issues turning in his head on his new song titled "Kinfolk". The self-proclaimed part Chuck D, part Simon Phoenix of the South blends a nice portion of pop culture and real-life experiences in his music as he dives into the nitty-gritty head first.

OMARI wastes no time as he details some stories that everyone can relate to – from friends in his old neighborhood, to the hustlers on the corner looking for the perfect score, and more importantly his own day to day grind as an artist on the come up. "Kinfolk" has a nostalgic feel with its lush, solemn synths and steady groove reminiscent of the 2000's, but still sounds current enough to keep the listener hooked.

"Kinfolk" is taken from Ois4 OMARI's new project Pull Up. Get it on Spotify.
