Jauz unveils second single from forthcoming Bite This! compilation [Premiere]

Bass producer Jauz has unveiled the second single from his forthcoming compilation LP Jauz Presents: This Is Off The Deep End, the kinetic tech house thumper "Truth."

"Truth," which EARMILK has the distinct pleasure of premiering, is a collaboration with house producer i_o, whose dark sonic flair is present throughout the song's bouncy 128 BPM arrangement. The track makes use of infectious vocal chops a-la Jauz's breakthrough 2014 single "Feel the Volume," but their brilliant processing and movement in the mix are proof of some serious growth. Eschewing his use of metallic wobbles for a more minimalistic approach, Jauz dunks his sound into a tech house batter and, with the help of i_o, churns out an intoxicating record perfect for an Ibiza sunrise. It's another refreshing move for an artist who has shown time and again he is not afraid to experiment with new genres and sounds. In an exclusive quote provided to EARMILK, Jauz described the origins of both the single and his ties to i_o:

i_o and I have been friends for something like 7 years now and watching him create this new project from scratch and seeing its growth has been so much fun. We’ve always written music together – he was basically in the studio with me during the entire creation of The Wise and The Wicked – but when the OTDE project came along we both knew it was the perfect fit for us to actually do a track together. We wrote "Truth" in basically a day flat, just kept trying different bass lines and drums and samples and once we found that main vocal everything really fell into place. Love how this one turned out and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do!
