Summer Salt has just released their new single "Honeyweed," and it's going to be your new favorite summer track. It has all the ingredients to make the perfect sun-soaked song, from glowing vocals to warm melodic guitars and an infectious rhythm which will be stuck in your head all day long.

The Austin-based duo met in high school, and have certainly grown from performing intimate living room concerts. They now tour across the States, playing at some of the most prestigious venues. With a loyal fanbase and Spotify numbers in the millions, Summer Salt have been gaining fast momentum and continue to delight listeners with every new release.

"Honeyweed" follows the release of the band's debut full-length album Happy Camper. Throughout their music, you can hear elements of influences from the likes of Lovin' Spoonful, Donovan, and Frankie Valli, whilst combining their modern folk pop sound and unique edge. "Honeyweed" is an example of what we can expect from their upcoming EP Full Catastrophe. The band share, "'Honeyweed' to us started to mean this little glimpse of hope. Something unexpected. Life throws you unexpected curveballs in times when you need it the most".

Be sure to keep you eyes peeled for the release of Full Catastrophe, and check out their tour dates below to see if they're playing in a town near you.
