Blanck Mass releases "No Dice" and announces North American tour

Blanck Mass has released the latest single leading up to his forthcoming album, Animated Violence Mild, entitled "No Dice." Following the lead release of "House vs. House," this track takes a different path than its danceable predecessor, taking on the gritty drone music that has led the depth in the Scottish artist's power in his previous music. While Benjamin John Power has had his hand in other musical projects, Blanck Mass serves as a uniquely layered project that will probably serve newer listeners as a jumping off point for exploration into the darker and more experimental edges of electronic music.

Obscured vocals and pronounced percussion serve "No Dice" as just the entry point for this forthcoming album and what its potential is. Power says himself, "‘No Dice’ is about denial. It’s the voice in the back of your head stopping you from moving forward, the separation between your head and your heart."

The music has a harsh edge, but has an immediate connection to the emotions that fueled its creation.

With the release of this single, Power has also announced a North American tour that will embark this fall.
