We know that FINNEAS can produce, write, and sing. So it’s no surprise that his latest music video for single "I Lost A Friend" is equally stunning in comparison to his large collection of penned and produced tracks. The video has haunting choreography throughout its one take – images that represent the emotion and struggle behind the words of the song itself.
Filmed at twilight in Lancaster, CA, FINNEAS wanders aimlessly in an overgrown field as the sky transitions into darkness. Eerily, human forms rise and stumble to follow him as he tries to understand his own situation singing “how'd the hell I lose a friend I never had?”. He says the “song was borne out of a falling out I had with my childhood best friend. I’ve made a lot of music covering romantic relationships and a lot covering family but I’d never been able to articulate what it feels like to lose a friend until now.”
With five million streams of the single on Spotify, the 21-year old is no stranger to success. Known also for his incredible wealth of talent in writing and producing for his sister Billie Eilish, FINNEAS is a feverishly followed name in pop music.
FINNEAS will appear at Summerfest and Austin City Limits Music Festival, as well as on Eilish’s sold out WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP WORLD TOUR. See more dates here.
