“Glo Up (Remix)” is a glimpse of LATASHÁ’s transcendence to the eclectic and multidimensional universe she is diving into. On her latest release, she presents a unique style of hip-hop that features low-fi vocals over a funky beat. A touch of old school with the energetic new school vibe and lingo can also be heard in her new music. She has described the song as “the beginning of my sound transformation and evolution”.

As an independent artist, Latasha Alcindor has been able to sustain herself through her poetic music and storytelling. This talent has opened doors for her with artists like Kanye West, Princess Nokia and music festivals like SXSW and Afro-Latino Fest. The New York native is currently working on a love letter EP dedicated to her fans and herself called BEFORE I TRANSCEND. The production of the upcoming project will be handled with eclectic and vibey producer SPACEPEOPLE who also produced “Glo Up (Remix)”.
