"Tales," a ditty featuring Stockton rappers Steve Spiffler, Haiti Babii, and YSN Lul Jay, fits this description to a T, and the track's new visuals take things to a whole 'nother level.
Spiffler—a dual-threat who can snap on the mic, and the ones and twos—soundtracked the ominous beat that sets the table for he and Lul Jay's aggressive bars. Both emcees go in like the recess bell just sounded, and fellow 209 spitter Haiti Babii—whose recent freestyle made some serious headlines—ties it all together with a simple yet memorable hook. Director SM Labs also does some stellar work behind the lens, opting for a black-and-white video that matches the song's darker steez.
