A few weeks ago, Freddie Joachim teased new material from his upcoming full-length LP Beyond The Sea of Trees, and now he is back with the sophomore single titled "Serenade". Joachim gets busy as he layers sprinkling pianos over a neck-snapping drum break as the track flows with heavy hitting drums and an unmistakable swagger. His knack for nostalgia-inducing textures cannot be overstated here as he literally takes the listener back to when life was good and didn't have to worry about so much.
For those not in the know, do get familiar with Joachim's style which is built on jazz piano progressions and horn standards. His new album, Beyond The Sea of Trees, will be released via Germany-based Jakarta Records. The album is another instrumental endeavor by Freddie, featuring artists such as FloFilz, Elijah Fox, and Natalie Oliveri.
