Experience "Growing Pains" with Manatee Commune

Manatee Commune captivates in his recent release “Growing Pains” featuring Samuel Eisen-Meyers. This tune comes as the fifth and final single ahead of the release of his highly anticipated PDA LP, available May 3 via Bastard Jazz.

From the beginning of "Growing Pains," warm atmospherics swirl in space, as light guitar begins to play. The somber tone is set in motion with Samuel's airy words, and a picture is painted of a young adult trying to figure out this thing called life. The gentle percussion pushes the song along, as we dive deeper into the struggle of growing up and all the expectation that comes with it.

"'Growing Pains' is a song about exploring life in your mid-20s. We are told we are supposed to have everything figured out by then, but this often is not the case. In the last year I’ve come to realize that I am doing exactly what I should be doing. Feeling the pains of growth is a sign of growth and every battle won is a step forward in the right direction. As long as you are doing what you love, you are on the right path.." – Manatee Commune

Along with his full LP, Manatee Commune will be embarking on a tour this spring as direct support for Geographer. If you just can't get enough, check him out live at one of the dates below.
