Rising emcee Avrex teams up with Gangstarr Foundation founders the late great Guru, Big Shug, and his cousin KrumbSnatcha (Fellow Gangstarr affiliate) on his new song/video titled "Seasons Change."
The song serves to uplift the listener with jewels from street-savvy veterans who recognize the fine line from being true to oneself and being ignorant. Avrex pays homage to the classic Gangstarr album Moment of Truth by using the entire tracklisting of the album to build his verse. On the other hand, KrumbSnatcha and Big Shug both display their time-tested skills as rap OGs with their impactful lyrics that aim to encourage young and older minds alike while Guru ties everything with a befitting hook.
The video, shot by Msyter DL, shares intimate unreleased family photos from Guru and also includes a special shoutout from the late legend's nephew Justin Ruffin Elam. This is definitely a brilliant effort to keep Guru's legacy alive.
