Madnap and Pauline Herr want us to “Slow Down” and reflect

With a new season, comes a new wave of music and producer Madnap—is not one to falter. In an electronic scene that's constantly moving and changing, Madnap has consistently adapted and evolved, carrying through the unique sounds that have made him who is he today. In his latest single "Slow Down" featuring the honey-sweet vocals of Pauline Herr, the producer encapsulates his signature glitchy warmth into an enthralling, wholly memorable track—one perfect for reflection.

Reminiscent of its namesake, "Slow Down" is a leisurely electronic cut that gracefully highlights the angelic inflections of Herr's voice. Madnap's complex layering and unique composition shines through with the varying organic instrumentals and languid synths, brightening the track with its woven whimsical plucks. The juxtaposition of soaring vocals and glitch, only make the track even more endearing, showcasing Madnap's abilities as a producer.

Madnap first gained recognition in 2017 when after joining Phantoms on tour, garnering support from notable acts including Zeds Dead, NGHTMRE, and Alison Wonderland. Since then, the producer has released several remixes for larger dance acts, with "Slow Down" being his first original electronic/pop record on Thrive Music.
