Just last week the Texas-born R&B singer, Khalid, released his sophomore album Free Spirit. The 21-year old artist is now back with the official music video for “Free Spirit” encapsulating what it means to be an individual cultivating their own narrative without restrictions or worries.
Featuring a van with the words “free spirit” plastered across it, Khalid showcases his care-free lifestyle throughout the entire music video. From driving down a lonely road with close friends to dancing freely in the wind, the “Free Spirit” music video features several scenarios where the young artist seems to be living his best life. Over the enchanting melody, Khalid even mentions “When you’re loving more, caring less. It’s the highs and lows with no regrets.” The bonfires and booze coupled with the carefree dancing throughout the dreamy video also show that Khalid makes music that continues to promote good vibes. Khalid was only 19 years old when he released his first hit project American Teen, with iconic songs like “Location” and “Young, Dumb & Broke” taking over the music charts. Now the artist has brought a new approach to R&B with his latest album Free Spirit and his “Free Spirit” music video only adds to the talented artist that he is.
Khalid is to be embarking on tour his Free Spirit World Tour at the start of this summer.
