The last time Audrey appeared on EM she was singing about a broken relationship, but right now she is on a whole different wave. Her new song "Soufflé" sees her drift away from R&B as she goes for a heavy trap style over the banging instrumental – provided by Roc Nation signee Anwar Sawyer.
The rising act once again displays the unorthodox, carefree style that makes her stand out from the current crop of gritty hip-hop influenced pop music. The Maurice Zarzuela-directed visual is quite colorful while still maintaining Audrey's quirky but engaging performance. She doesn't try to blow our minds with over the top aesthetics, but she sure knows the power of minimalism. Audrey is currently planning on releasing an EP later this year.
