Tamta flips the script with dual-powerhouse album ‘THE VILLAIN HEROINE’

Tamta returns with the fire, vivid colors, and wild spirit of "THE VILLAIN HEROINE," her new album out now on her independent label Kiki Music Group and exclusively distributed by Minos EMI/Universal Music. Totaling 41 minutes and 43 seconds and comprising 15 electric cuts, this is a cinematic pop experience.

Once spreading the journey of two separate EPs, "THE VILLAIN" and "THE HEROINE." Tamta has merged these sonic galaxies into one linear story arc, with two new bonus tracks and a starry-eyed remix from her early discography. The result? A brave and intimate concept album that tiptoes the tightrope between light and shadow. On "THE VILLAIN" side, Tamta unleashes her inner rebel. It opens with “XAI5-V,” a chaotic, cybernetic dive into a dark psyche, and moves to “KHORUMI,” a tribal, battle anthem meant to evoke Georgian dance. The adrenalized “ANAKATA” is a tease of danger, whereas the attention-getter “COPY” turns imitation on its ear with crafty lyrics and rotational beats. “BYE” is an emancipatory statement poised to be just as catchy as it is cathartic, while “DOMINO” brings the chapter to a close with poetic grace and mystery.

"THE HEROINE" is Tamta’s sunnier flip-side, with sparkling hyperpop and J-pop helianthus. “A TRUE HEROINE ” the message of which is to feel empowered during mundane activity, and viral hit “ CHROME HEARTS ” ft Saske serve up a candy-coated thrill. “HELLO KITTY” embraces lighthearted memories, “MONOTONIA” and “TOKYO ATHINA” pursue independence with brash confidence, and “XOMA” turns hate into healing.

“MILES HIGH” winks at sky-high freedom before the album touches down with “DEN TELIONI ETSI I AGAPI,” an updated ballad from her debut era, shining now with wisdom and grace. Tamta constructs worlds. "THE VILLAIN HEROINE" This book is a masterpiece in duality, femininity, and fearlessness, whether by shadow or light, the villain heroine controls her narrative.
