In from the jump is that signature Autograf groovy bass line, and you're thrust into their familiar kaleidoscope of juicy synths. Vocalist John Splithoff makes an immediate impression, with vintage vocals that breathe toe-tapping life into the shimmering production. Something about Autograf always makes me feel transported to a 70's pool party awash in warm sepia tones, and "Hold Me Back" is no exception. Shades on, world out.
The guys are putting the finishing touches on their first full-length album in three years, Love and Retrograde EP, due this summer.
