Seattle native Sango and Brazilian producer VHOOR team up for the first time on a new funky EP Acima. Acima is a 3-track effort which means ‘above,’ perfectly describing the colourful theme surrounding the EP.
The theme of the EP focuses on channeling positive energy and not allowing negativity affect motives in life, almost pushing above everything else. Infamous for effortlessly fusing genres, Sango shows off his beautiful mastery as a beat maker with Brazilian funk samples, electronic beats and unity throughout the track guaranteed to get listeners on the dance-floor. The vibrant EP moves us along with every beat, allowing users to forget time and space and really focus on enjoying the moment.
Sango prides himself on making music, stating he makes regular, real beats influenced by American hip hop music, southern, black gospel, 70s/80s soul, straightforward dance music to name a few.
