The indie soul/pop duo known as Silk Cinema is back with another soothing gem of a record titled "I Know What Love Is". The love-laden record is nostalgic and emotionally powerful, two elements you would notice the moment you hit the play button. Helmed by the alluring vocals of frontwoman Kristy X, her delivery really raised the ante over Raph's vintage styled production. Although the topic may not be novel, the subtle approach by the duo sure makes it more enamoring as it easily takes the listener back to good times. This is feel-good music that truly clutches the heart.
