Anna Lunoe has kicked off 2019 strong with the massive announcement of her residency with Wynn Nightlife group, alongside names like Diplo, Black Coffee and Dillon Francis. Lunoe is also going to perform at this year's Coachella Music Festival, for the third time. Preparing for the upcoming touring season, she has been cooking up new music for us. This week, she unveiled a dancefloor-friendly acid house record, arriving through Mad Decent.
An ode to the 303 bass synthesizer and acid house culture, "303" is a piece that you'll for sure want to have on repeat. From the very beginning, Lunoe expertly employs punchy drum kicks and groove-heavy acid bass lines to create a sound that will certainly have you get up and dance. "303" is straightforward, revealing Lunoe's ambition to continue her reign on the house scene. She is quickly assembling an arsenal of festival-ready records.
In talking about the creative process, Anna Lunoe notes, “Making music is weird, sometimes it feels really impossible and other days it happens so easily. This song is really exciting for me because it was one of the quickest songs I’ve ever made, and has re-inspired me to focus on super playable, simple, ravable, rowdy weird club music. It reminded me how fun making club bangers can be and I hope it makes you feel all those things.” Lunoe also revealed that this just marked the first of many exciting releases – including an EP – due out from her this spring.
