In his latest video, “Neighbours,” the multi-talented UK singer-songwriter Kyan unveils a world demolished by fear and technology through a mesmerizing dance performance. Peep the flick below.
According to Kyan, the theme of “Neighbours” is a post-apocalyptic world wherein a single governing body controls the masses through fear. In response to this, groups of communities have left the greater society to live underground, away from technology and the fear that controls them. Not your typical music video motif, eh?
What’s more impressive than the creative topic of the video, though, is its phenomenal dance execution. Kyan enlisted Ukweli Roach to choreograph and Birdgang Ltd Dance Company to make his ideas come to life. The result is a four and a half minute interpretive dance through an abandoned home, all backed by Kyan’s music.
