Berlin-based Moroccan singer-songwriter and producer J.Lamotta shares with us the visuals for her latest track, "Turning". The song is the first single before she embarks on her 2019 musical campaign in support of her sophomore album Suzume.
The soft-spoken act puts her vocal range to the test as she delivers a gripping vocal performance against a jazzy backdrop that boasts a flavorful percussion and keys showing. The visuals for the song have a warm, cinematic aesthetic and shows Lamotta taking a ride through the city. Quite minimalistic but effective in bringing life to the song's honest outlook of her life. "Turning" is taken from her upcoming Suzume album scheduled for release sometime in April of this year via Jakarta Records. The album was recorded across four different studios in Berlin, involving 24 musicians from all around the globe.
