British rising star SG Lewis released his new single “Blue” today as the first sneak peek into the final chapter of his three-part album series Dusk, Dark, and last but certainly not least: Dawn. The album Dawn is set to come out later this year, and boy-oh-boy after listening to "Blue" now we really cannot wait.
“Blue” is not only full of whimsical and euphoric sounds, but has a sort of buoyant quality to it that makes you feel like you’re floating. It's hard not to nod your head to the beat as you listen. The track was solely performed and produced by SG Lewis himself. SG says, “Blue is the first track off of Dawn and is something I am hugely proud of. The track is bit of a journey that transports to a second dimension in the latter half. I created it in London with my long-term collaborators, Phairo and Frances, and I feel like it is the perfect introduction to the third and final part of the project".
It's been a big past year of accomplishments for the artist, with his previous single “Hurting” featuring AlunaGeorge currently sitting at No. 3 on the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay Chart. And “Blue” shows us he has no plans of slowing down his success.
SG Lewis is currently under Republic Records. For all of you Coachella fans he’s snagged a prime slot at this year’s fest, performing on April 12 and 19, 2019.
