Rochester emcee 38 Spesh (aka The Son of G Rap) starts off the year with his full-length project titled 38 Strategies of Raw. The talented lyricist is coming off two solid collab projects with the legendary Kool G. Rap and Benny The Butcher, and returns with this 11-track body of work.
In his usual fashion, he goes for the jugular right away and doesn't hold back his thoughts on topics ranging from street politics, urban warfare, economic struggle, and then some. From the gripping "Everywhere I Go," to the lush piano arrangements of "Trust Gang," and the 80's R&B tinged personal cut "What More," Spesh doesn't hide his hand when he throws the stone. The artist delivers a body of work that will easily please his fans and also serve as a solid intro to new listeners.
