Funk LeBlanc comes through with a double whammy on a funky single "One of a Kind" alongside a remix. The San Francisco producer crafts a vintage nu-disco vibe that takes a bit of the old and new on the new release.
While LeBlanc built the sound, he brings back his longtime collaborator Dorian Kitaoka who helps out with the vocals on the song. The duo worked together on the vocals and found their own unique way of vocoding the texture of Kitaoka's voice. The performance is quite interesting as we get to hear the subtleties on Dorian's performance while the classic Roger Trautman vibe is present on throughout the song. The remix from Pallace, on the other hand, takes liberties with the overall groove adding some dynamic changes using house elements into the mix.
