With his first release signed by Hot Creations and a string of tracks since on labels such as Global Underground, Knee Deep and Crosstown Rebels, UK DJ and producer Denney holds a solid position in the ranks of tech house players. His latest release, The Woozle EP, comes via Moon Harbour, where fellow producers like Eli Brown, Huxley and Sidney Charles have all found a home for their high quality house music.
Denney’s The Woozle EP package opens with the title track –rumbling bass and a mysteriously dark male vocal pack the atmosphere into this late night number. “Messin My Head”, premiered exclusively by EARMILK, follows with a looser, urgent change up to its predecessor. Brimming with acid-laced sounds and a classic bassline, the hypnotizing vocals only build the song further, closing the EP on a high.
