New Zealand born, Sydney based singer/songwriter Wallace's new single "Neverland" is a blend of neo-soul, hip-hop and a whole lot of fun. The talented vocalist shows us what exactly can be achieved when you let the inner child inspire your craft.
On "Neverland" Wallace teams up with Mohi X Mango who provide a buttery soundscape for the syrupy vocals from the singer. Right from the intro (a sample from a conversation amongst her family), it becomes clear that this track is going to be a fun ride all the way. Wallace's carefree performance takes prominence as she sings "… If growing up means it would be beneath my dignity to climb a tree, I’ll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up!...". That line was, in fact, a Peter Pan tattoo she saw on a friend of hers in Wellington – sparking the fire within and inspiring "Neverland".
