German-based, Curaçao-born rising act Gianni Mae is determined to follow her natural progression in the music industry regardless of the obstacles in her way. On her new trap-influenced motivational record titled "They Say", she teams up with Berlin-based super producers Broke Boys. The duo help craft a vibrant, hard-hitting track for Mae's authoritative lyrics and rousing performance on the single. Mae beautifully lays down the hammer on every single negative element that is thrown her way with a mesmerizing vocal performance.
The video was shot in different spots in and around Berlin and shows Gianni Mae as an elegant Trap queen strutting her skills in her domain. Gianni Mae's background is particularly interesting as she holds a BSc in medicine and was also a member of a female rap duo called Junglebae (alongside Dutch producer Boaz van de Beatz. and rapper Ronnie Flex ). "They Say" is the first single showcasing her new style and serves as a precursor to her upcoming EP.
