Austin artist Noah North built a fan base beginning in his hometown, but hasn't released music since 2017. He is back with an infectious new single titled "Down." The track is an emotional R&B song that adds dashes of pop into its best moments. Described as a progressive pop artist, he bends genres on this track as much as any other. The difference with the release of "Down" isn't only his maturity, but his seemingly newfound comfortability. He sings every word with ease, and hopefully will continue this trend in future releases.
As far as subject matter, North said that he "wrote the song about essentially being lost; searching for the same thing in different girls." The song hears North begin to reflect on himself, and is a perfect showcasing of his personability as an artist.
The singer recently signed with Austin-based management company Scoremore, and seems like he is preparing to make noise heading into 2019.
