Israeli DJ and producer Guy Gerber has become an artist synonymous with creative production as well as performance. With another season of the illustrious Rumors party at Destino Ibiza finished and a whirlwind of dates globally, the enigmatic electronic artist is serving up two remixes of his very own "What To Do", which saw a release earlier this year, coming courtesy of &ME and DJ Jes.
Both remixes shine a completely different light on Gerber's original track. German DJ &ME, who's also spent a lot of the summer on the white isle, steps up first for the rework. Heading straight in with a hypnotising drum beat and bass line, &ME's remix is emotive. Reminiscent of the picture painting qualities that remixes such as his edit of Joris Voorn's "Homeland" create, his edit of "What To Do" is hypnotic with subtle groovy undertones. Chicago's DJ Jes remix' resonates with the sounds of his city settings. An immediate groover from the get go, "What To Do" transforms into an dancefloor banger drenched in atmosphere and peak time dance floor energy.
