Veteran emcee Q-Unique of The Arsonists fame shares some of his favorite memories from the past to the present on his new song "I Seen". The DJ Matvey-produced track has a cinematic feel to it with its rousing strings and head nodding drums which serve as the perfect backdrop for Q-Unique's vivid lyrics, placing the listener deep into the middle of the action. It's obvious that the man has more memories than you can shake a stick at, but some of our favorites include witnessing A Tribe Called Quest write “Lyrics to Go” and seeing Nas and Main Source at Wetlands amongst others.
As for the visuals director, JP Brasca keeps it minimal and vintage as he puts Q-Unique in front of a graffiti backdrop in the middle of the woods as he chronicles the amazing things he’s been party to over the years. "I Seen" is taken from his latest LP, The Mechanic.
