The Holy Ghost! boys have made their return with a glorious new track called “Anxious” and it was well worth the wait. Reminiscent of their earlier singles like “Hold On” and “Wait & See,” this new cut boasts that classic-inspired energy that makes you want to jump up and sway to the groove. It only seems appropriate that this one will be released via the famous West End Records, a pioneer in defining disco and dance during the 70s and 80s.
“Anxious” is filled with all the right shimmering pop melodies and shuffling beats to hold up the dance floor in any era. All the matters is you bring your best moves and something that’s going to glitter beneath the disco ball. Keeping things vintage, “Anxious” will be released on vinyl in the classic city skyline West End Records sleeve. It will also come alongside a Tom Moulton mix including a B-side with Chuck Davis Orchestra and a Holy Ghost! Remix.
Proceeds from this 12” will help LIFEbeat and Gay Men's Health Crisis to honor the legacy of West End founder Mel Cheren through efforts to support and help educate communities about sexual safety, health, and diseases.
