Oceanside, CA. based emcee No1MC brings back the essence of that good old hip-hop where lyrics mattered more than anything else. On his new single titled "Behind The Scenes", he displays copious amounts of lyricism over the brooding music production provided by producer Equipped.
No1MC breaks down his love for the art and culture by referencing the works of legends like Rakim etc. and the impact their lyricism has over him. He also takes shots at less proficient rappers who step into the cipher with weak bars and gimmicky methods.
The video was directed by TypeSanti Films and puts the emcee in his element as he does what he knows best. For those that don't know, No1MC is also one half of the rap duo No1Special and founder of Mad Capital Records. "Behind The Scenes" is off his album "Conditional Struggle"
