EZTV's "Daytime" makes the perfect addition to your next 'road trip' playlist

Brooklyn jangle-pop band EZTV are known for their airy, upbeat power-pop jams in the vein of The Cleaners from Venus and Emitt Rhodes. Now they're back with a slick new track titled, "Daytime." This groovy retro-rock tune feels like the waning end-of-summer sunlight that we all try to soak up before the start of autumn. This also marks the band's emergence from writing the follow-up to their 2016 full-length High in Place.

In, "Daytime," frontman Ezra Tenebau paints the picture of walking aimlessly through the hustle and bustle of a daytime city. Calling to mind listless summer days, the groove is brooding and contemplative all while providing an underlying sense of urgency. This makes the perfect addition to any "On the Road" playlist. Even the accompanying video utilizes old grainy footage of driving through central Pennsylvania highways, shots of planes overhead, and late nights over San Francisco bridges.
