Incrementally raising the bar song after song, San's newest release "brighter days", is intrinsically and wholeheartedly another emotive hit, featuring acclaimed singer Bipolar Sunshine.
"brighter days" is an ode to the realization that “even though things sometimes don’t work out between people, life goes on and brighter days will come. While at the same time, we sometimes still wonder if that other person thinks about the past experiences you shared.” Along with the release of "brighter days", he has also created an exclusive playlist for EARMILK in celebration, noting, "Here are some songs I've been digging for a while. Some inspired the album, others are just songs you shouldn't miss out on."
Airy, light and effervescent, "brighter days" distinguishes itself from San's previous single releases off album1 with its exquisite dance beat paired with Bipolar Sunshine's hopeful croons. The slow beginning gives a calm, zen moment before its steady inclination into the drop – a signature of San's future bass sound and mastery of vocal manipulation.
