Hailing from Columbus, Ohio 4-piece Captain Kidd, greet us today, just in time for summer’s end with the atmospheric house track "Wide Eyes". Effortlessly smooth and sultry vocals, which give off R&B feels, kick off the track, as it heads into a breezy and bouncy baseline.
Captain Kidd have had a lot of love since their journey began. Since they've kicked off the project, support has been overtly positive with high streaming numbers, opening performances alongside the likes of Glass Animals, Capital Cities, Wiz Khalifa, and Griz and gracing the stage internationally from coast to coast at this summers festival circuit.
When speaking on "Wide Eyes" the group shares, “"Wide Eyes" came about after reunion earlier this summer with old college friends. We stayed up for about 36 hours straight reminiscing about all the stupid things we use to do, all while jamming to a playlist of 90s house music we put together.” We've got the first listen give it a spin above.
