While the UK dance scene continues to thrive, grow and accumulate more talent as the days pass by, a favourite amongst the newcomers in the last few years is Nottingham based DJ and Producer, Latmun. Latmun, or Joe Bradley, has seen releases on some of the most reputable labels including Hot Creations, Relief and VIVa in the last year alone. Tomorrow, Latmun return's to Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars with three-track EP 'Utopia' – following on from the success of 'Groove Tool' which was released last Summer and found its way to plenty of esteemed sets and dancefloors.
With a summer schedule as busy as Latmun's, including sets at Ibiza's Amnesia, DC-10 and a Repopulate Mars boat party in NYC, it's essential to constantly deliver amped up, driving tech house – and that's what the producers new EP does in it's entirety. From the murky vocal murmurs and reverberating bass in EP opener "Utopia" to glistening chords and some soulful vocal in "Passion", the release is packed with elements of Latmun's signature producing style. "Summer Starter" is the third and final track, tieing up the package with a serene, synth-laden closer.
'Utopia' EP is out Friday 10th August 2018 on Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars. Available to stream online and download via Beatport.
