I can't believe I'm saying this, but next weekend on August 4th and 5th, the West Coast's best summer electronic festival HARD Summer returns to SoCal for it's eleventh installment. Over the past eleven years, HARD Summer has been the go-to festival electronic acts on the verge of stardom, offering headliner status to tomorrow’s superstars, and even predicting the musical collision between electronic music and hip-hop. On top of that, HARD has given streaming stars a live platform from which to deliver the highest quality electronic music, and has consistently proven to be a barometer of who and what’s next in explosive live music.
This year is no different, as HARD Summer welcomes electronic music’s most buzzed about stars, including: a one of a kind, very special b2b set from long-time HARD talents Diplo and Dillon Francis, the recently-launched Virtual Self project by Porter Robinson, trap icon Flosstradamus, multi-genre producer TOKiMONSTA, bass legends Zeds Dead going b2b with Jauz, super duo Kill The Snails (Kill The Noise and Snails), the explosive Mija, streaming super-stars Louis The Child, OWSLA mainstay Joyryde, and last but not least, DIRTYBIRD upstart FISHER.
On the hip-hop side HARD Summer is all set, with a headlining set by Travis Scott, hip hop boss Rick Ross, plus some of rap’s most relevant names like Lil Xan, Lil Skies, Trippie Redd, Saweetie, $UICIDEBOY$, and YBN Nahmir.
So, to whet your appetites for what is sure to be a crazy weekend, HARD Events have teamed up with Earmilk to present the next installment in the HARD Summer Mixtape Series, and on this occasion, we have an exclusive mix by none other than super-duo Escapade.
It's not secret that DIRTYBIRD have been the flavor du jour of the dance music scene, with DIRTYBIRD artists routinely taking top-billing at the nation's largest music festivals. With Escapade, two of DIRTYBIRD'S premiere artists (Walker & Royce together with Ardalan) have combined their powers to crush the bass and tech-house scene as only they could.
