Amsterdam-based duo Secret Rendezvous consists of singer/songwriter Sietske “Sisi” Morsch and producer/guitarist Remi Lauw. The duo has been putting in some work with their brand of contemporary R&B. Their newest material is a revamp of their previously released single "Homie. Lover. Friend."
The revamp of the single gets a surreal touch from Holland's finest producer Moods. While the original had a more vintage R&B vibe, the remix takes on more of a spaced out, ethereal tone. The overall vibe is pretty engaging but doesn't lose the core element of the original.
"Homie. Lover. Friend" is taken from Secret Rendezvous's summer EP titled For Real Remix ( with production from Mitchell Yard, andPaquitoMoniz). The EP can be downloaded for free when you purchase their vinyl here. You can also get the single on Spotify.
