This is Yetep's first post on here at EARMILK and it certainly won't be the last. He goes by Peter, a familiar face in the LA music scene, having multiple headlining shows in California partly due to his success on the online space back on Tumblr as well as Soundcloud for curating melodic monthly mixes.
He's now stepping out of his comfort zone and expanding into producing music, trying to find his signature sound. This is one of his first originals he's released called "Needed You The Most" with Goons and Blest Jones.
The track begins with a catchy guitar pluck encompassed with an emotional vocal topline by Jones, leading into a choppy melodic future bass drop. As a fan of Peter's mixes, I can hear the influence from his style of his DJ sets mixed in, its a vibe that pays homage to the city that he's been immersed in, even now as I listen to it I can hear the LA music scene oozing out from the melody.
I'd like to share that he's also bringing together a group of his friends to throw a show to give back the community that has given him so much, it's on July 21st in LA, featuring upcoming artists such as Eclipse aka Chandler Riggs.
