While Paul Woolford might be known for his work under multiple artist personas (Bobby Peru and Special Request), it's his work under his real name that's made the biggest splash today. Woolford has a new track out via FFRR entitled "Hang Up Your Hang Ups," and the longtime We Love Space resident has landed the track as Hottest Record in the World with BBC tastemaker and DJ Annie Mac.
While for most this would mark a debut for this music, Mac has been so infatuated with Woolford's latest record that she's been rinsing it tens of times over and teasing it on her socials.
"Hang Up Your Hang Ups" is a classically UK house tune, with impeccably chosen vocal samples from Kim English that evoke house and disco's yesteryear and are perfect just on a loop, but even better with well versed deep production.
