Budding R&B act Nathaniel The Great takes it back to the party basics on his latest dancefloor record titled "Tear It Up".
The Brooklyn, NY native delivers a solid energetic track with what seems to be with minimum effort. Using the classic piano riff from Vic Juris's "Horizon Drive", the listener is subjected to a clean, smooth '90s tinged R&B record complete with the "get up and dance" theme. Nathaniel's aim is clearly to get the partygoers jumping and this latest track certainly does just that.
The Brooklyn R&B singer-songwriter has collaborated with heavyweights such as Dj Khaled Remy Ma, Jadakiss, Ludacris, Swizz Beatz and others. His most recent feature was on the hook of Papoose's single "Black Love," and he is currently promoting his own single "Tear It Up". FYI: for those who don't know, it's the same sample DJ Premier flipped for the classic Gangstarr track "Mass Appeal".
