O Femi is in his element on his "official" release titled "Shine on". The record is the beginning of what he calls a new page of his music career.
After working on several songs, O Femi snagged the proverbial golden fleece on this record and as he puts it "…the goal not to be distracted by what other people are doing but to stay in my line. The light in me had faded and now that light is back on. ". Armed with passion-driven lyrics and a smooth flow, O Femi teamed up with producer Za Sonic to deliver a soul-filled, ambient soundscape of a track. Far from rhyming for the sake of riddling, the emcee takes the listener through his trials and tribulations as a man and artist. He talks deeply about the wrong decisions he made in order to fit in which ultimately didn't project him further and the realization that brought him to this point.
"Shine on" is the first of many tracks expected from the London born, Cardiff, Wales emcee. O Femi has also opened up for the legendary Hip-Hop group The Jungle Brothers at Club Ifor Bach. The Gospel influenced rapper has been between church walls and the stages of underground hip-hop cyphers, where he has performed in front of those “seeking" to those seeking to hear the most intricate rhymes.
