Àbáse delivers a solid jazz output on "Skeme Goes All City" layering cinematic harmonies over a rollicking rhythm section. The fun doesn't stop there as you can feel the subtle improvisational as the track progresses forward. Made up of Fanni Zahár, Tamás Heilig, Tamás Czirják and Szabolcs Bognár, this group is definitely moving the genre forward with tprogressive musical pieces such as this.
Àbáse gives an insight into the concept behind the track
'Skeme Goes All City' is a dedication to the New York graffiti pioneer Skeme and the power of self expression in Hip Hop culture. We wrote and recorded the track in one improvised studio session in the oldschool way, all the musicians in the same room, no headphones, no chance for correcting mistakes or editing. Raw.
"Skeme Goes All City" is taken from the band's upcoming 7-track debut project and it promises features from artists like Wayne Snow , Roque Miguel and more. Get the audio here
