Melomè, a Euro-Caribbean American singer-songwriter, draws from a rich musical lineage. Born in Germany and raised across continents, her music reflects a life lived between cultures, languages, and artistic worlds. She hails from a celebrated jazz family; her grandfather, Jimmy Woode, was the youngest bassist to join Duke Ellington’s orchestra and performed with legends including Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Miles Davis. While honoring this heritage, Melomè has forged a voice distinctly her own: warm, introspective, and emotionally honest.
Her forthcoming album Recalibration marks a new chapter in her artistic journey, following years away from releasing music to embrace motherhood.
