Singer-songwriter Linae taps into the 90s r&b spirits for her newest single "Sweet Sweat."
The Swedish-born Linae, aka Linnea Grönberg, doesn't disappoint on this ode to the traditional R&B sound. The singer's vocals on this latest track "Sweet Sweat" are smooth and captivating at every turn. The soundscape has a mix of late night quiet storm vibes, 80s New Edition-esque melodies and the confidence of Toni Braxton to match. She is sure in herself enough to know what she wants from her partner and doesn't mince words when it comes down to the get down.
Linae showed a deep interest in music during early childhood. She grew up in a house full of constant R&B and soul music which explains why she likes taking us back to the 80’s/90’s, but regardless, there’s no doubt that her music is fresh and interesting. She is currently back in the studio working on several unknown singles. Her previous releases include her version of Maxwell’s hit "Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder)". Her unique take on the classic was an early proof that this is an artist to watch out for.
