Gear purist and electronic producer Brahm returns with a solid tune titled "Runaway."
Brahm's new single “Runaway” is a synth-fueled, head-nodding banger evoking nostalgic hip-hop soul and replete with honey-laden vocals courtesy of Mattie Safer (formerly of The Rapture, currently a touring vocalist/bassist with Poolside). The smooth backdrop is fits seamlessly with Mattie's mellow vocal style and engaging melodies- which take center stage alongside the multi-layered instrumentation.
“Runaway” is the precursor to his upcoming full-length project Get The Ghost to drop via Swedish Columbia (Tanimura Midnight, El Huervo) on the 8th of June. The project as Brahm puts it is "…my interpretation of soul/funk/jazz with my obvious hip-hop roots. I have live sax, trumpet, guitar, and cello on there along with my synths."
