Award-winning singer-songwriter Michael O is poised for the summer with the release of his latest love anthem "Umbrella."
The American born Nigerian singer keeps it very simple and catchy on this tune. He wastes no time in showering praises on an unnamed female who has caught his attention and he is determined to sweep her off her feet by any means necessary. "Umbrella" is a radio friendly and melodious tune that blends pop, Afropop, and some Carribean elements.
"Umbrella" is the follow up to his popular single "Follow Me" and the musician is currently back in the studio continue to keep working on new material for a few more months now. Michael O. is set to shoot the visuals to the song with a renowned music video director, set for release in a couple of weeks.
*Fun fact: In 2015, Michael appeared in the major motion picture, Pitch Perfect 2, as the lead singer of the singing group in the film, The Singboks, soloing on the song “Anywhere You Want It”.
