"Brooklyn" is a finger-snapping R&B slow-burner that bounces along a minimally soulful backbone, accentuating Forbes' dazzling voice throughout. The track brings in more and more jazz elements as it churns along, eventually introducing some smooth horns and a velvety electric guitar solo reminiscent of Santana. This guy boasts serious versatility – in addition to singing and songwriting, he is also a force to be reckoned with behind the boards. After being featured on Tyga's "Black Crowns" as a vocalist back in 2012, he recently co-produced the rapper's May 2018 global single "Taste (feat. Offset)."
