Towards the end of 2017 we were sharing Marie Dahlstrøm's EP "Nine", calling her sound "easy on the ears and the heart". Not much has changed since that time as the singer/songwriter returns with her latest single "Ask About Me", which comes as the first single to be taken from her forthcoming EP. Dahlstrøm links up with JNTHN STEIN for a groovy R&B, synth heavy production complete with live instrumentation, giving the track all the feels.
"Ask About Me" came about after the pair went to sunny Corsica, away from city lights and distractions; the pair were able to get raw and real, “Ask About Me is a song about self-worth and empowering. A song about realising that even after hard times, there is so much to be grateful for. Time truly is a healer of most things,” shares Marie. Give it a first listen above.
