Multi-talented act Celestina just dropped the visuals to her newest banger titled "GBAGABANG."
The singer and actress is taking her music career a step further with this latest project. "GBAGABANG" is raw, unbridled and upbeat. The title of the record actually has an acronymic meaning as follows Gonna Breakthrough All Gates and Barriers and Never Give-Up, which pretty much sums up the concept. Celestina delivers her verses with fiery conviction while showcasing her African roots. She maintains a sense of confidence in the lyricism draped over the minimalistic booming soundscape
The self-directed video is colorful, vibrant and brings to the screen her performing skills. The aesthetics are colorful, off-kilter and the fusion of Afrocentric elements and dance does add an exotic flavor to the mix. Get the audio here
Fun fact: Celestina worked as a recurring character in Lionsgate’s worldwide hit, Step Up Movie sequels and also cameoed in Fox’s flagship series, Empire, where Executive Producer and Director Sanaa Hamri brought her in to dazzle the stage next to Trai Byers’ character, Andre Lyon.
